Qualifying day at Spa! Final touches to the setups and getting in laps to gain experience. The high speed track of Spa-Francorchamps was always going to be a challenge with the KTM X-Bow GT4, however the team found a lot of pace in the 1h warm-up session right before qualifying.

In the 20 minute qualy session, Daniel Brunschitz managed to place the car into 6th place, the first step towards a great race!

Race day! After driving in Qualifying Daniel took the start of the race as well, gaining one place before going through Eau-Rouge and gaining another spot before the 2nd lap, just escaping the full course yellow.

With the excellent fuel efficiency and tire saving abilities of the KTM, the team managed to go 2 laps further than the other competitors in the GT4 class in each stint.

With a lot of accidents at the front we moved up to 3rd place and even led the race with the pit strategies being desynced.

Going into the night Marvin Reisenhauer and Lars Wintermantel took turns behind the KTMs steering wheel, piloting the car safely through the first hours of darkness.

Getting safely through the night is one of the most important key factors to surviving a 24h race. Our KTM X-Bow GT4 passed the 12h mark without penalties or incidents, still well placed in 4th.

Unfortunately we received a drive through penalty shortly after the 14th hour and lost our pit strategy advantage. However the fight was still on! Amazing on track battles during sunrise saw Marvin Reisenhauer defend 5th place against a strong Quattro M Team.

Because everyone was on different strategies we were jumping around between 7th and 5th place for most of the day hours before Daniel Brunschitz secured 5th place with 2h to go.

The best ever finish for the team at a 24h race and our best result in the current World Endurance Series Season!
